with four to six members who live in this city, and we meet every one of them before they join.

Do I need Korean?
No. Every meetup is tagged Korean or English. Pick an English one and everyone at that table agreed to speak English.
Most members are Korean, and plenty of them joined because they wanted to meet people from outside Korea.

Why Aff Seoul?

It is a conversation. Nobody is grading you. I ask a few odd questions, you talk about yourself for a bit, and people usually end up saying something they had not said out loud before.

Meeting strangers, and why it works here
❶ Everyone got in through a 10-minute video chat, or a referral from a member rated 4.0 or higher.
Donghaeng members live in Seoul. Their jobs and their homes are here, and most of them will still be here next year.
❷ Membership costs money, and that is the point.
Showing up matters when you meet in person. The fee is the simplest way to respect everyone’s evening, and it keeps last-minute no-shows rare.
