After majoring in history in college and going to graduate school in a related field, I'm now teaching English, history, economics, and social studies at an academy. I believe that doing what you love is success, and in that sense, I consider myself a successful person. Seeing students grow gives me a huge sense of accomplishment. I like computer games and board games, and recently I've been studying chess. I had a chessboard that my aunt gave me as a child, and I suddenly thought of it and started playing. It's fun to play while calculating moves as a way of brain exercise! Another hobby is roasting. I happened to get a roaster, so I studied roasting through books and YouTube. When my studies in graduate school didn't go as planned, a friend told me that life is like carrying a heavy load and going a long way. Sometimes things might not go as you want, but even if there's something I can't solve now, I moved forward thinking let's do what I can. I always try to live truthfully to myself!
