I've been working as an engineer at a bio company for 8 years. I was very interested in financial engineering and wanted to go to the math department, but I ended up in my current job. Honestly, it was hard to adjust to company life at first, but lately I've been enjoying work because I started a new project. I believe the world changes depending on who has the big money. So I read financial engineering books whenever I have time. It's not my major, but I want to challenge it someday. Gaining new knowledge through books is always a joy. Recently, I've been hooked on a book about Silicon Valley. I think the instinct to be happy is within us. I'm happy when I'm immersed in something, having fun, and helping others. So I tend to think about these three things when I act or make a decision.
