Iโm from Northern Ireland and teach career-focused English at a university in Yongin. I studied Japanese and came to Korea for one year, thinking Iโd move on to Japan afterwardโbut that was in 2014, and Iโm still here. Outside work, Iโm usually at the gym, playing tennis or walking; running is too boring. Friends I met abroad often visit, so Iโve become their unofficial Seoul guide. City life here can feel lonely, so I try to make each new interaction a good one by listening properly and learning peopleโs stories.
